Discord server boosts are a premium feature that unlocks enhanced capabilities for your server. Each boost contributes toward one of three levels, with each level providing progressively better perks like higher audio quality, more emoji slots, and larger file uploads.

Normally, boosts come from users who subscribe to Discord Nitro ($9.99/month) and choose to boost a server. This makes boosting expensive — reaching Level 3 would require 14 Nitro subscriptions costing nearly $140/month.

Third-party boost services like SMM Blue provide the same boosts from real Nitro accounts at a fraction of the cost, making premium server features accessible to communities of all sizes.

Each boost level unlocks specific features for your server. Understanding what each level offers helps you decide how many boosts to purchase.

• Level 1 (2 Boosts) +50 emoji slots, 128kbps audio, custom server banner, animated server icon, 8MB upload limit.
• Level 2 (7 Boosts) +100 emoji slots, 256kbps audio, custom invite background, 50MB upload limit, server banner.
• Level 3 (14 Boosts) +250 emoji slots, 384kbps audio, vanity URL, 100MB upload limit, animated banner, custom invite splash.

Your ideal boost count depends on which features matter most to your community. For most servers, Level 2 (7 boosts) offers the best balance of features and cost.

Gaming and music communities benefit most from Level 3 audio quality (384kbps). Brand and crypto servers often want Level 3 for the vanity URL and professional appearance. Casual communities usually find Level 1 or 2 sufficient.

If your server already has some organic boosts, you only need to buy enough to reach your target level. Check your current boost count in Server Settings > Server Boost Status.

Boosts last 30 days. To maintain your server level, you need to renew them monthly. SMM Blue offers an auto-renewal option that ensures your server stays boosted without manual reordering.

Pro tip: if some boosts are from your community members who pay for Nitro, you may need fewer purchased boosts. Track your organic boost count and only buy what you need to reach your target level.
